Guillaume Myre (he/him) is a sound conceptor and visual artist based in Montréal. His background in digital music at the Université de Montréal led him to discover immersive and performative art, which remains central to his practice.

Deeply influenced by the richness and forces of nature, he often lets these elements guide his creative process. His works imbued with a natural sensibility and a touch of surrealism emerge from a reflection on the subtle relationships between their constituent elements.

Through his artistic journey, Guillaume proposes a rethinking of our relationship to the world, where dream and reality converge to create poetic, immersive, and deeply engaging environments.

Guided by moments of wonder encountered through sonic and visual exploration, the artist works across a range of technologies to shape the aesthetic language of his projects. Through experimentation, he develops custom systems in which sound, crafted through modular synthesis, and image, designed and programmed in TouchDesigner, intertwine to bring singular conceptual worlds to life.

His works unfold as immersive journeys, where the ecosystems he creates are imbued with a living, evolving quality. In performance, he enjoys blurring the boundaries of the imaginary and playing with perception, inviting audiences into shifting audiovisual landscapes.
